Zna\u010dka zo Stuttgartu preto v septembri 1987 predstavila airbag spolujazdca. Po airbagu vodi\u010da predstavenom v marci 1981 je airbag spolujazdca \u010fal\u0161ou d\u00f4le\u017eitou inov\u00e1ciou pas\u00edvnej bezpe\u010dnosti. <!--more-->Airbag spolujazdca sa od febru\u00e1ra 1988 dod\u00e1val najprv v Triede S a od jesene toho ist\u00e9ho roku aj v kon\u0161truk\u010dnom rade 124, ktor\u00fd bol predchodcom Triedy E. U\u017e od roku 1994 je s\u00e9riovou v\u00fdbavou v mnoh\u00fdch vozidl\u00e1ch zna\u010dky Mercedes-Benz.<\/p>\n<h3>Ke\u010f Airbag za\u010dal od nuly<\/h3>\n<p>V pr\u00edru\u010dnej odkladacej skrinke sa ukr\u00fdva nov\u00fd rozmer bezpe\u010dnosti spolujazdca: na mieste tohto mal\u00e9ho \u00falo\u017en\u00e9ho priestoru umiestnili in\u017einieri zna\u010dky Mercedes-Benz airbag \u2013 bol jednou z noviniek zna\u010dky na Medzin\u00e1rodnej v\u00fdstave automobilov (IAA) vo Frankfurte nad Mohanom, ktor\u00e1 sa konala od 10. do 20. septembra 1987. T\u00e1to inov\u00e1cia ako presved\u010div\u00fd z\u00e1klad dop\u013a\u0148a doteraz etablovan\u00e9 z\u00e1chytn\u00e9 syst\u00e9my zna\u010dky Mercedes-Benz, teda airbag vodi\u010da a nap\u00edna\u010d bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su. Stuttgartsk\u00e1 zna\u010dka pon\u00fakla pr\u00eddavn\u00fdm airbagom pre spolujazdca ochranu cestuj\u00facich, ktor\u00fa v danom \u010dase nepon\u00fakal \u017eiadny in\u00fd v\u00fdrobca na svete.<\/p>\n<h4>Ako v\u017edy, premi\u00e9ra v Triede S<\/h4>\n<p>Airbag spolujazdca mal svoju premi\u00e9ru najprv v sedanoch Triedy S a kup\u00e9 kon\u0161truk\u010dn\u00e9ho radu 126. Od modelov\u00e9ho roku 1988 si z\u00e1kazn\u00edci v Nemecku mohli objedna\u0165 tieto modely s novou zvl\u00e1\u0161tnou v\u00fdbavou, ktor\u00e1 bola k dispoz\u00edcii v\u00fdlu\u010dne v kombin\u00e1cii s airbagom vodi\u010da a jej cena bola 4 617 nemeck\u00fdch mariek. Len airbag vodi\u010da st\u00e1l 2 348,40 nemeck\u00fdch mariek.<\/p>\n<p>Gener\u00e1cia Triedy S od zna\u010dky Mercedes-Benz, ktor\u00e1 sa kon\u0161truovala od roku 1979 do roku 1992, sa t\u00fdm definit\u00edvne stala priekopn\u00edkom v oblasti airbagov. U\u017e airbag vodi\u010da sa toti\u017e prv\u00fdkr\u00e1t pon\u00fakal v kon\u0161truk\u010dnom rade 126. Zna\u010dka Mercedes-Benz predstavila toto pokrokov\u00e9 rie\u0161enie pas\u00edvnej bezpe\u010dnosti na medzin\u00e1rodnej v\u00fdstave automobilov, ktor\u00e1 sa konala 5. a\u017e 15. marca 1981 v \u017deneve. Stuttgartsk\u00e1 zna\u010dka tak bola prv\u00fdm v\u00fdrobcom na svete, ktor\u00fd zaviedol syst\u00e9m airbagu, patentovan\u00fd v roku 1971, do s\u00e9riovej v\u00fdroby automobilov. Airbag vodi\u010da sa pritom kombinuje s nap\u00edna\u010dom bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su pre spolujazdca. Airbag vodi\u010da sa v cenn\u00edku uv\u00e1dzal od j\u00fala 1981 a dod\u00e1val sa pre kon\u0161truk\u010dn\u00fd rad 126 za 1 525,50 nemeck\u00fdch mariek. U\u017e v janu\u00e1ri 1982 sa syst\u00e9m dod\u00e1val pre v\u0161etky modely osobn\u00fdch motorov\u00fdch vozidiel zna\u010dky Mercedes-Benz s cenou 1 570,70 nemeck\u00fdch mariek. Od okt\u00f3bra 1992 sa airbag vodi\u010da a protiblokovac\u00ed syst\u00e9m ABS nakoniec stali s\u00e9riovou v\u00fdbavou osobn\u00fdch motorov\u00fdch vozidiel s hviezdou.<\/p>\n<h4>Nasledovala Trieda E<\/h4>\n<p>&#8220;Vzduchov\u00fd vak&#8221; spolujazdca (ako by sme ho nazvali v na\u0161ej rodnej re\u010di), ktor\u00fd bol predstaven\u00fd na medzin\u00e1rodnej v\u00fdstave IAA pred 30 rokmi, bol od septembra 1988 dostupn\u00fd aj v modeloch kon\u0161truk\u010dn\u00e9ho radu 124 \u2013 bud\u00facej Triede E. Presadil sa ako \u00fa\u010dinn\u00e1 ochrann\u00e1 technika poskytuj\u00faca pas\u00edvnu bezpe\u010dnos\u0165 a v auguste 1994 sa spolu s opierkami hlavy pre oblas\u0165 zadn\u00fdch sedadiel stal s\u00e9riovou v\u00fdbavou mnoh\u00fdch osobn\u00fdch motorov\u00fdch vozidiel zna\u010dky Mercedes-Benz. V\u00fdrobca od za\u010diatku zd\u00f4raz\u0148oval, \u017ee airbag spolujazdca dodato\u010dne zvy\u0161uje ochrann\u00fd \u00fa\u010dinok trojbodov\u00e9ho bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su, av\u0161ak v \u017eiadnom pr\u00edpade ho nedok\u00e1\u017ee nahradi\u0165. Povinnos\u0165 pou\u017e\u00edvania bezpe\u010dnostn\u00fdch p\u00e1sov v tom \u010dase platila u\u017e od roku 1976, od roku 1984 sa jej nere\u0161pektovanie trest\u00e1 pe\u0148a\u017enou pokutou.<\/p>\n<p>Sk\u00fa\u0161ky so sk\u00fa\u0161obn\u00fdmi figur\u00ednami dokazuj\u00fa, \u017ee kombin\u00e1cia obidvoch ochrann\u00fdch syst\u00e9mov poskytuje v\u00fdrazn\u00e9 zv\u00fd\u0161enie pas\u00edvnej bezpe\u010dnosti: kombinovan\u00fd syst\u00e9m pozost\u00e1vaj\u00faci z bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su s nap\u00edna\u010dom a airbagu spolujazdca v porovnan\u00ed so syst\u00e9mom pozost\u00e1vaj\u00facim len z bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su a nap\u00edna\u010da dodato\u010dne zni\u017euje riziko zranen\u00ed v oblasti hrude a hlavy pribli\u017ene o tretinu. V testoch sa hodnotia najm\u00e4 \u00fa\u010dinky nehody na tkanivo (Viscous Tolerance Criterion, VTC) a hlavu (Head Injury Criterion, HIC).<\/p>\n<h3>P\u00e4\u0165 kilogramov bezpe\u010dnosti<\/h3>\n<p>V porovnan\u00ed s prvkom airbagu vodi\u010da, ktor\u00fd v\u00e1\u017ei tri kilogramy a je umiestnen\u00fd vo volante, v\u00e1\u017ei jednotka airbagu spolujazdca zabudovan\u00e1 na mieste pr\u00edru\u010dnej odkladacej skrinky v modeloch Triedy S kon\u0161truk\u010dn\u00e9ho radu 126 p\u00e4\u0165 kilogramov. D\u00f4vodom je okrem in\u00e9ho aj v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ia vzdialenos\u0165 medzi airbagom a \u013eudsk\u00fdm telom, a preto sa objem vzduchov\u00e9ho vaku, ktor\u00fd zachra\u0148uje \u013eudsk\u00e9 \u017eivoty, mus\u00ed takmer strojn\u00e1sobi\u0165: v Triede S je tento objem 170 litrov, pri\u010dom airbag vodi\u010da m\u00e1 objem 60 litrov.<\/p>\n<p>Technika inov\u00e1cie predstavenej v roku 1987 je v princ\u00edpe rovnak\u00e1 ako technika osved\u010den\u00e9ho airbagu vodi\u010da: ak sp\u00fa\u0161\u0165acie zariadenie zabudovan\u00e9 nad prevodovkou (\u201esn\u00edma\u010d n\u00e1razu\u201c) rozpozn\u00e1 v\u00e1\u017enu nehodu, spust\u00ed obidva plynov\u00e9 gener\u00e1tory umiestnen\u00e9 v airbagu. Gener\u00e1tory z peletovej pevnej hnacej l\u00e1tky vyrobia plynov\u00fa zmes, ktor\u00e1 n\u00e1razovo naf\u00fakne airbag. Airbag pritom v\u010faka svojmu tvaru dok\u00e1\u017ee ochr\u00e1ni\u0165 spolujazdca pred n\u00e1razom na pr\u00edstrojov\u00fa dosku aj st\u013apik A.<\/p>\n<p>Sp\u00fa\u0161\u0165acie zariadenie zaznamen\u00e1va kol\u00edzie a ur\u010duje ich silu na z\u00e1klade dvoch vopred ur\u010den\u00fdch hrani\u010dn\u00fdch hodn\u00f4t. Zariadenie po prekro\u010den\u00ed prvej hrani\u010dnej hodnoty spust\u00ed najprv nap\u00edna\u010d bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su. Po dosiahnut\u00ed vy\u0161\u0161ej hrani\u010dnej hodnoty sa aktivuje airbag spolujazdca. S odstupom 15 milisek\u00fand sa pritom iniciuj\u00fa obidva plynov\u00e9 gener\u00e1tory a vzduchov\u00fd vak vyroben\u00fd z polyamidovej tkaniny s vn\u00fatorn\u00fdm pogumovan\u00edm sa za\u010dne plni\u0165 s kontrolovan\u00fdm n\u00e1rastom tlaku. Palubn\u00e1 elektronika zis\u0165uje aj to, \u010di je sedadlo spolujazdca obsaden\u00e9 alebo vo\u013en\u00e9. Ak sn\u00edma\u010de v sedadle a z\u00e1mkoch bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su indikuj\u00fa vo\u013en\u00e9 sedadlo, airbag spolujazdca sa pri nehode nerozvinie.<\/p>\n<h3>S\u00fastavn\u00fd v\u00fdskum pre bezpe\u010dnos\u0165<\/h3>\n<p>Airbag spolujazdca je d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00fd stavebn\u00fd kame\u0148 v nepretr\u017eitom procese v\u00fdvoja bezpe\u010dnosti zna\u010dky Mercedes-Benz. Prv\u00e1 sk\u00fa\u0161ka porovnate\u013en\u00fdch z\u00e1chytn\u00fdch syst\u00e9mov pre spolujazdca sa v Stuttgartskej zna\u010dke za\u010dala takmer dve desa\u0165ro\u010dia pred zaveden\u00edm do s\u00e9riovej v\u00fdroby. Hans Scherenberg, \u010dlen predstavenstva vtedaj\u0161ej spolo\u010dnosti Daimler-Benz AG a ved\u00faci spolo\u010dn\u00e9ho v\u00fdvoja a v\u00fdskumu, u\u017e v roku 1971 informoval o prebiehaj\u00facich sk\u00fa\u0161kach v oddelen\u00ed v\u00fdvoja: \u201eV pr\u00edpade spolujazdca, ktor\u00fd bol chr\u00e1nen\u00fd bedrov\u00fdm bezpe\u010dnostn\u00fdm p\u00e1som a vzduchov\u00fdm vakom, boli splnen\u00e9 v\u0161etky predp\u00edsan\u00e9 technick\u00e9 po\u017eiadavky.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Ako referencie sl\u00fa\u017eia americk\u00e9 feder\u00e1lne bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9 normy pre motorov\u00e9 vozidl\u00e1 a ich prv\u00e9 predpisy boli vydan\u00e9 1. marca 1967 pre modelov\u00fd rok 1968. V roku 1975 uk\u00e1zala zna\u010dka Mercedes-Benz aktu\u00e1lny stav v\u00fdskumu airbagu na medzin\u00e1rodnej v\u00fdstave IAA vo Frankfurte nad Mohanom. Bol predstaven\u00fd \u201evzduchov\u00fd vak pre vodi\u010da a spolujazdca ako mo\u017en\u00fd doplnok bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su\u201c.<\/p>\n<h3>Airbag sa presadzuje<\/h3>\n<p>Airbagy pre vodi\u010da a spolujazdca sa v celom odvetv\u00ed r\u00fdchlo presadzuj\u00fa ako technika, ktor\u00e1 zachra\u0148uje \u017eivoty. S\u00fastavnou pr\u00e1cou in\u017einierov sa moduly airbagu st\u00e1le zmen\u0161ovali, a preto mohli by\u0165 umiestnen\u00e9 na in\u00fdch miestach vo vozidle. Cie\u013eom bolo napr\u00edklad dosiahnu\u0165 komplexn\u00fa ochranu aj pri bo\u010dn\u00fdch kol\u00edzi\u00e1ch: zna\u010dka Mercedes-Benz v roku 1993 predstavila \u0161t\u00fadiu bo\u010dn\u00e9ho airbagu, v roku 1995 pri\u0161iel na trh bo\u010dn\u00fd airbag ako zvl\u00e1\u0161tna v\u00fdbava najprv v Triede E.<\/p>\n<p>\u010eal\u0161\u00edmi inova\u010dn\u00fdmi krokmi s\u00fa okenn\u00fd airbag (1998), bo\u010dn\u00fd airbag na ochranu hlavy a hrudn\u00edka (2001), airbag na ochranu kolien (2009), bo\u010dn\u00fd airbag na ochranu hrudn\u00edka a panvy, airbag bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su a airbag vank\u00fa\u0161a sedadla (2013), ako aj adapt\u00edvne airbagy pre vodi\u010da a spolujazdca s dvojstup\u0148ov\u00fdm, \u010dasovo posunut\u00fdm rozv\u00edjan\u00edm, ktor\u00e9 z\u00e1vis\u00ed od zaznamenanej sily n\u00e1razu a nastavenej polohy sedadla. Osobn\u00e9 motorov\u00e9 vozidl\u00e1 zna\u010dky Mercedes-Benz preto dnes chr\u00e1nia svojich vodi\u010dov a cestuj\u00facich premyslen\u00fdm syst\u00e9mom, ktor\u00fd sa sklad\u00e1 a\u017e z dvan\u00e1stich airbagov.<\/p>\n<p><a
