Od svojich predchodcov zo 64. sa v\u00fdrazne l\u00ed\u0161il, ale ako hovoria mnoh\u00ed fan\u00fa\u0161ikovia americkej legendy: &#8220;Mustang ako zna\u010dka\u00a0by dnes neoslavoval 50. v\u00fdro\u010die, bez Mustangu II.&#8221;<br \/>\nJeho platforma mala mrie\u017eku chladi\u010da atypick\u00fa pre tento typ auta a\u00a0bije do o\u010d\u00ed ako prv\u00e1. Tak isto zadn\u00e1 \u010das\u0165 tohoto fastbacku\u00a0bola doplnen\u00e1 o vypukliny blatn\u00edkov zadn\u00fdch kolies.
