V Honde si dali z\u00e1le\u017ea\u0165 aj na bezpe\u010dnosti jazdy pri vy\u0161\u0161\u00edch r\u00fdchlostiach, \u010do dosiahli pomocou vysokej tuhosti karos\u00e9rie a vyv\u00e1\u017een\u00e9mu aerodynamick\u00e9mu pr\u00edtlaku. Civic Tourer je vybaven\u00fd kompletn\u00fdm zoznamom bezpe\u010dnostn\u00fdch technol\u00f3gii ako 5-dverov\u00e1 sestersk\u00e1 verzia, ktor\u00fd mu umo\u017enil dosiahnu\u0165 rovnako 5 hviezdi\u010diek v eur\u00f3pskych bezpe\u010dnostn\u00fdch testoch NCAP.
