Technici od Chevroletu sa pohrali s gener\u00e1ciou aerodynamick\u00e9ho pr\u00edtlaku, ktor\u00fd pritl\u00e1\u010da pneumatiky k vozovke pre lep\u0161iu stabilitu vo vysok\u00fdch r\u00fdchlostiach a lep\u0161\u00ed prejazd z\u00e1krutami. Mno\u017estvo \u00faprav exteri\u00e9ru oproti Camaru SS, pomohlo dosiahnu\u0165 zlep\u0161enie aerodynamiky, chladenia pohonnej jednotky a brzdov\u00fdch komponentov. Camaro Z\/28 produkuje o 200 kg viac pr\u00edtla\u010dnej sily pri r\u00fdchlosti 241 km\/h (150 mph) v porovnan\u00ed s verziou SS. Optimaliz\u00e1cia aerodynamiky Camara Z\/28 sa v praxi otestovala na nemeckom legend\u00e1rnom okruhu\u00a0N\u00fcrburgring, kde dosiahlo o 4 sekundy lep\u0161\u00ed \u010das ako ZL 1 a porazilo tak\u00e9 men\u00e1 ako Porsche 911 Carrera S (2011) alebo Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (2013). Nov\u00e9 Camaro Z\/28 je najr\u00fdchlej\u0161ie produk\u010dn\u00e9 Camaro na trati, ktor\u00e9ho r\u00fdchlos\u0165 sa zlep\u0161ila v troch oblastiach:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zv\u00fd\u0161enie pri\u013enavosti: Z\/28-\u010dka je schopn\u00e1 dosiahnu\u0165 prie\u010dne pre\u0165a\u017eenie 1.08g, v\u010faka komplexnej rev\u00edzie podvozku.<\/li>\n<li>Zv\u00fd\u0161enie brzdn\u00e9ho v\u00fdkonu: Karb\u00f3novo-keramick\u00e9 brzdy zna\u010dky Brembo spoma\u013euj\u00face \u00a0automobil s pre\u0165a\u017een\u00edm 1,5g.<\/li>\n<li>Zn\u00ed\u017eenie hmotnosti: Neprepl\u0148ovan\u00e1 Z\/28-\u010dka v\u00e1\u017ei o 136 kg menej ako prepl\u0148ovan\u00e1 ZL1, na svedom\u00ed to maj\u00fa reduk\u010dn\u00e9 \u00fapravy ako napr\u00edklad \u013eah\u0161ie disky alebo ten\u0161ie zadn\u00e9 okenn\u00e9 sklo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hnaciu silu do 6-stup\u0148ovej prevodovky so skraten\u00fdmi prevodmi dod\u00e1va atmosf\u00e9rick\u00fd z\u00e1\u017eihov\u00fd motor LS7 o objeme 7.0L a s v\u00fdkonom 376kw (505k) a kr\u00fatiacim momentom 652Nm. Testovanie bolo zameran\u00e9 hlavne na optimaliz\u00e1ciu aerodynamiky piatich komponentov:<\/p>\n<p>1. Predn\u00e9 dif\u00fazor<\/p>\n<p>Camaro Z\/28 m\u00e1 predn\u00fd dif\u00fazor s v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ou plochou, ktor\u00e1 poskytuje pr\u00edtlak na predn\u00fa \u010das\u0165 vozidla a zlep\u0161uje tak prejazd z\u00e1krutami a vy\u0161\u0161iu stabilitu pri vy\u0161\u0161\u00edch r\u00fdchlostiach. Je navrhnut\u00fd tak, aby dok\u00e1zal prenies\u0165 na svojej \u0161pi\u010dke z\u00e1\u0165a\u017e 113 kg a je spojen\u00fd s krytmi podvozku pre lep\u0161ie aerodynamick\u00e9 pr\u00fadenie popod vozidlo.<\/p>\n<p>2. Zadn\u00fd spojler<\/p>\n<p>Na za\u010diatku v\u00fdvoja bol stanoven\u00fd cie\u013e zachova\u0165 koeficient aerodynamick\u00e9ho odporu na rovnakej hodnote ako v pr\u00edpade verzie Camaro SS. Po\u017eiadavky Z\/28 na pr\u00edtlak v\u0161ak boli v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ie a preto bol zadn\u00fd spojler doplnen\u00fd o mal\u00e9 vertik\u00e1lne kr\u00eddielka po hran\u00e1ch spojlera. T\u00e1to mal\u00e1 optick\u00e1 zmena priniesla dostato\u010dn\u00fd n\u00e1rast pr\u00edtlaku a poskytla lep\u0161iu stabilitu zadnej \u010dasti.<\/p>\n<p>3. Nas\u00e1vac\u00ed otvor prednej kapoty<\/p>\n<p>Vylep\u0161en\u00fd tvar otvoru zv\u00fd\u0161il vztlak, ktor\u00fd generuje obtekaj\u00faci vzduch a ten vytv\u00e1ra \u00fanikov\u00fa cestu pre hor\u00faci vzduch od motora. Podlaha<\/p>\n<p>Kryt podvozku redukuje vztlak p\u00f4sobiaci na predn\u00fa \u010das\u0165 vozidla. Tvar krytov bol navrhnut\u00fd pomocou CFD programu a otestovan\u00fd v aerodynamickom tuneli.
